CONSTRUCTION
Adhesive : Permanent synthetic rubber
resin adhesive typified by a high tack and peel adhesion. Carrier
: Transparent polypropylene film.
Liner : White supercalendered
glassine. |
|
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Features
High tack adhesive
Strong yet conformable
Easy release liner
|
Benefits
Provides good initial adhesion to a wide variety of substrates with the
benefit of relocation if positioned in error.
Provides excellent dimensional plastic carrier stability.
Reinforcement of flexible substrates.
Facilitates easy removal at point of application.
|
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
- General purpose foam bonding, e.g. gaskets, sound deadening
and insulation materials.
- Ideal for rough uneven surfaces, e.g. embossed plastics
and metals.
- Suitable for porous surfaces.
|
SURFACE PREPARATION
It is essential, as with all
pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is
applied be clean, dry, and free of grease and oil. |
